A curved module isn’t just a lamp we bent into a circle. It’s a bit more scientific than that. We figure out the exact curvature so the distance between the emitter and your part stays the same the whole way around. Why? Because when a straight lamp gets too close to a curved surface, you get “hot spots.” Those are a nightmare for quality control. By locking the lamps into a fixed module, we take the guesswork out of the equation. You don’t have to “eyeball it” anymore.
The Trade-off: Heat vs. Hardware
High-wattage IR systems are great because they ramp up the heat fast. But there’s a catch. When you pack several lamps into a tight, curved space, you’re creating a lot of concentrated thermal energy. If you just drop these modules in without a plan, you’re asking for trouble. You’ve got to make sure your cooling fans or water-jackets can actually handle that load. Otherwise, you’re looking at melted wiring and fried connectors. It’s a mess you don’t want to clean up.
